Description:

This mod is a new AI for the monster hellknight. It makes him play with a ball in a 2 player's team VS an other team of 2 players. This new hellknight will only work fine in the map made for this mod because it needs special entities that are in this map.

 

Every monster use the same code that is running once by monster. They have all the same tactics.

 

Basically : the nearest monster from the ball become the Shooter (and get a little grey cone up his head). The Shooter will try to shoot the ball to the opposite goals while his friend goes between the ball and the middle of the game zone OR between the ball and the opposite goals (depend of witch position is the nearest from the ball). In the same time the 2 player of the other team try to deviate the goal. Once the Shooter have shoot the ball, the nearest monster from the ball become the shooter, etc ... If the ball exceed the opposite goal zone (the blue or red line on the ground) the 2 monsters try to shoot the ball to the goals. If the ball exceed the game zone’s limits it’s automatically bumped.

 

Monsters also have a stamina statement.

 

My code is in French. I've translated all the notes I wrote in it but Variables are still sometime French words. Anyway this Code was the 1st one I ever made with doom3 so it's also very dirty.

HK AI:

- does not pick up dead imps or zombies.

- occasionally, hk will toss the imp or zombie at a wall instead of player (because its cool)

Description:

In this doom3 mod, imps can pick up barrels and toss them at you.

 

Mod Features:

- imp "knows" every barrel location in a given map.

- tossed barrel will damage the player.

 

Imp AI:

- chooses the closest barrel.

- picks up barrels only if they are standing upright.

- moves towards closest barrel as long as its not too far away, the player is not too close to the imp and the barrel is not exploding.

Description:

This mod gives you a sentry bot to help u in those hairy situations where there are just too many enemies on the screen to handle

To get this to work extact the contents into you Doom Directory, EG: Crogram FilesDoom3

Then activate the Co-Op mod through the main menu and open your saved game or start fresh, then once ingame type the following into the console:

spawn char_sentry_flashlight

...and u will now have a sentry robot with a flashlight mounted on its head to help u out

Also this Mod includes the Flashlight on both the Handgun and the Machine Gun for your convenience, aswell as another nice suprise that I think you guys will find useful

Description:

The wraith did not live up to it's full potential, so it has been changed. In this mod you will see the wraith teleport in with it's normal effects, then shift in between dimensions to avoid being shot. The shifting effect bursts from the wraith and spills onto the floor in a shower of black dust.

The Real Nightmare (NESSUNA IMMAGINE)

 

Description:

If either Doom 3 was too easy for you even on the highest difficulty setting or if having to choose between the flashlight and the weapon sounded like a real injustice, then you may like this mod.

 

Features:

- adds a flashlight to most weapons

- changes weapons stats; in general, they will sustain less damage and inflige more to enemies

- doubles stamina of most enemies

Third Person View (0.1) (NESSUNA IMMAGINE)

 

Description:

This mod was made as an experience, in order to try and put in practice a concept I came up with. What this initial version does, is to enable crosshairs while in third-person mode, by having them projected from the weapon onto the game surfaces.

A self-executable configuration file is also included, which allows for changing between first-person and third-person views, and changing the position of the camera, with simple key presses (refer to item 3 - usage - in this readme.).

Please, keep in mind that this initial version of the mod is not perfect, and is thus not supposed to be used for "serious", competitive play. it is mostly an experience, and awaits input from more experienced coders in order to fix its flaws. However innacurate, I consider the crosshairs to be an imprivement, anyway, over playing the game with no crosshair at all.

Water Physics Mod (1.0) (NESSUNA IMMAGINE)

 

Description:

An attempt to add liquid like physics to Doom 3. It adds buoyancy properties to rigid bodies and ragdolls (AF's) using defined density and viscosity.

 

In a later version I think it's be fun to add a wavey surface that's affected by object colliding but I can't really think of a fast way to do this so if anyone's got any ideas I'm listening.

 

I'm still stuck with a DirectX 8 video card so I don't see any of the fancy vertex programs or anything but I know there are some good ones out there for anyone interested in looking around. What I've provided is a slightly modified version of someone else's work (credits at the bottom). It's really only a place holder.

I wanted to test it with the map "Church of Ruins" but it didn't work, I was brought back to the main screen immediately. If you can make it work, I would appreciate your feedback!

With the Nitro Gore Mod the quantity of spilled blood of the opponents increases and the corpses of all opponents as well as NPCs remain even after extensive treatment with various tools / weapons and thanks to the badass Ragdoll physics are thrown around the area and over obstacles themselves In addition a small error in the PDA concerning 'Mark T. Caseon' has been repaired.

Description:

The demo includes one level from our SP campaign, one super cool test level, and loads of our new features! Though it is all still early beta, you'll be able to get a good look at our new gameplay, and features. One of the new features to note is the new Impact Particle system! Though the paritcle effects are still being tweaked and improved, this feature adds tonnes of depth to d3. Metal sparks when shot, dirt shoots off clouds of dust, etc.

Also (as mentioned above) we have a new gravity gun model! Unfortunately, the skin we released it with in the demo is VERY beta, so you do not get to see this trully amazing model in all its glory.... But don't worry, we will get it reskinned by our next release!

Also these spawns are instantaneous as they do not have the red glow and star effect when teleporting and instantly appear, this may look strange if you happen to see it happening but it cannot be helped without putting them all in at the very begining and watching your PC explode.

DungeonDoom is a rogue-like Doom 3 modification, which sets up a pseudorandom maze including enemies.

- 20-100 randomly generated maze levels with randomly placed monsters. The strength of enemies increases the deeper you descend. Exits are blocked by pentagrams until all enemies have been spawned

- Three player classes: Fighter, Psi-Fighter and Supernatural with varying abilities to wield weapons and/or use magical skills.

- Three different difficulty settings with variations in light level, trap visibility, enemy toughness and enemy behavior.

If you are having problems runing the mod itself please read the following:

 

 

This error apears if the user doesnt have the updated game or if the file is corrupted . Because the file was ok and i had the updated game i started to wonder ... Then i talked to mulrich15 ( he works at codfiles ) he told me to run the mod and while in the main menu open the console and type : "map church_of_ruins_dshr ". (you need to be in the main menu of the mod not the original game , and type it withour the quote's)

I hope i helped with the info above . Oh , i musen't forget ; sometimes (when starting the mod this way ) the mod will start in Nightmare mod big grin

The medium difficulty level (BRUTAL) will provide an adequate challenge for people who have already beaten Doom 3 on Veteran difficulty. Only pick the hard difficulty level (MASOCHISTIC) if you can cope with much frustration in your mission to prove yourself a badass mo fo. If you triumph over the nightmare difficulty level (SUICIDAL) without cheating or quicksaving, then you are, well, duh, oh nevermind nobody will survive SUICIDAL anyway.

Description:

This is a mod for the Doom 3 Single Player only. This mod continues my single player modding projects than include Weapon Mod for Soldier of Fortune 2 and Beyond the Call of Duty for Call of Duty. It doesn't invent the wheel again, it just makes it little better and 'realistic' as possible, but also keeps the game in a playable condition. In other words the game is fun to play and it will give you a challenge.

- Flashlight on/off switch works through the reload button. Nothing special, but if ID saw fit to give it that function, why not take everything out of it? It also has a nifty new sound.

- Pistol and machinegun have a little more spread.

- Chaingun rate of fire down and when it runs out of ammo, the barrels keep spinning until you release the firing button.

- Plasmarifle has a little slower ROF.

- Grenade fuse down to 3 seconds.

- Grenades can be toggled to maximize their effectiveness.

- New explosion sound effects.

- Modified the firing sounds of most weapons.

- New sound effects for the chainsaw.

- New firing sound effects for the plasmarifle and BFG-9000.

- BFG's and plasmarifle's radars have a nice beeping effects sampled from Aliens.

- Projectiles and explosions create more light.

- Little this and that.

In the twilight hours of May 7, 1994, eight Special Forces operatives were paradropped into the Yucatan Peninsula. Seven safely landed and carried the nuclear bomb into the pyramid. Hours later, they ran out of bullets.

This project is based upon Pathways Into Darkness created by Bungie Studios. It is my hope that Pathways Redux sparks further interest in the original Bungie Studios effort. Pathways Redux is not endorsed by or affiliated with Bungie Studios in any capacity whatsoever.

As of November 1996, the locations in Washington, D.C. and the Yucatan Peninsula described in this project have been declared safe by the Center for Disease Control and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. None of the areas described are infective or dangerous

This mod gives you a Sentry Bot, which follows the player through the game. The Sentry is armed with a plasma gun, instead of the normal machine gun. This mod is based on the mod "GuardSentry" by Nivelxe. AI system originally by Nivelxe, used under permission.

Both Plasmaguns (player & Sentry Bot) have now lilac-red plasma. The sounds of the plasmagun of the Sentry uses the classic sounds from Doom 1&2.

Keine Mod im eigentlichen Sinne, sondern eine Verständnishilfe für Schwerhörige, Taube und nicht der englischen Sprache allzu sehr mächtiger Personen.

 

Nach der Installation steht einem per Menüeintrag die Möglichkeit zur Verfügung, sich alle Dialoge und Monstergeräusche in Doom3 als Untertitel zum Mitlesen einblenden zu lassen.

Zudem erhält man eine zusätzliche Mail mit den niedergeschriebenen Texten, sobald man sich ein PDA-Video anschaut oder ein Audiolog anhört.

 

Version 2.0 wartet zudem mit farbkodierten Texteinblendungen auf, die ein Unterscheiden der Dialogpartner im Spiel vereinfachen, sowie einem visuellen Sound-Radar, um die Position sprechender Personen besser erahnen zu können.

 

Die gravierendste Änderung ist aber die Möglichkeit, Doom3 u. a. nun auch mit deutschen Untertiteln genießen zu dürfen! Einfach die Sprache in den Game Options auswählen und los geht's!

Description:

Chex Quest was a total conversion for the original Doom that was distributed through specially marked packages of Chex cereal. All of the textures, weapons, monsters, items, etc... were changed to fit a theme that could be released in a cereal box, with the goal of creating a first person shooter that parents would allow their kids to play. Not only was there no killing involved in Chex Quest (that's right, no killing, the enemies are sent back to their own dimension) but there was also an educational value applied to the items. All health and armor items were replaced with bits of food and all sorts of balanced breakfasts.

 

Chex Trek... beyond the quest aims to become a total conversion for Doom 3 that recreates the feel of the original Chex Quest game. Though the only level currently in the mod is a remake of the first level in Chex Quest, called The Landing, no other recreations will be made. All textures will be created to have a brighter happier mood, to fit what the constraints were for Chex Quest. Eventually, all monsters will be re-modelled to look like Chex Quest's counterparts, including weapons and character models.

Player can now gain EXTRA health and armor beyond the default limits, this is a reward for those who can avoid getting beat up a lot.

Description:

Mod Features:

- vulgars only replace imps that spawn/teleport into the map

- when an imp spawns/teleports, there is a 75% random chance it will be replaced with a vulgar

- vulgar placement will be different each time a map is played

- includes all vulgar effects, sounds, skins, ai and animations from D3:RoE

- works with any D3 map

 

Known Bugs:

- when an imp is replaced by a vulgar, you may hear the imp's death cry

 

Additional:

- this mod should not conflict much with other basic mods

- as far as i know, D3:RoE is not required for this mod to work

- the only real work i did was scripting, the rest is from id and nerve

This submission is based on two successful mods i.e. DOOM 3: Reloaded by TheVoodoo and Trent Reznor's Sound Pack. Unlike them, it heavily concentrates on the gameplay aspect of the game reviewing most weapons stats and visual effects. Some monster classes are also adjusted thereby making them more challenging to fight.

The list of changes is impressive and - btw - this the first time this mod is featured on DOOM3Files

What's in the MOD:

- All none melee weapons have been modified so that the muzzleflashes now emit more light than before. This basically lights up the room as long as you are firing your weapon.

- The hand grenade has been modified so that it no longer acts like a rubber ball. When you throw it, it bounces once and stays still before exploding.

- Nothing else has been changed in terms of weapon power or ammo count and the such.

- For those interested in Coop, I tried to come up with the next best thing, until the SDK comes out. You can summon a special sentry that will follow you around the game defending you. This sentry is based on the MOD released by Michael Knight (UAC Sentry Robot Mod) as

well as information I got from a post by PDQ 7779473 on http://www.forumplanet.com. The key difference between mine and Michael Knight's is that mine doesn't affect all the sentries you see in the game. It also does not cause problems with saves and quicksaves. You can summon the sentry by doing the following:

 

(1) Bring down the console by pressing Ctrl+Alt+~

(2) type the following in the console:

 

Bind "x" "spawn char_guardsentry"

Where x can be any key. From this point on, as soon as you press the x button, a guard sentry will appear in front of you, ready to defend you till death.

 

 

InstaOwn Mod (V1.0) (NESSUNA IMMAGINE)

 

Description:

Playing Doom3 made my life feel empty, incomplete even. There was a void in my gaming experience. One that can only be filled with Instagib.

 

So I give you, InstaOwn, the instagib mod for Doom3. Things changed:

 

*Flashlight and hands do twice damage. Punches can steal weapons normally, so this is an incredible effective feature now instead of worthless

*Pistol instakills, and has the rate of fire of a shotgun, and a higher kickback to compensate for the extreme badassary of the weapon.

*Faster run/walk.
