Grave | Survival horror | TBA |

Despite not hitting it with Kickstarter pledges, the PlayStation 4 version stretch goal sounds like it’s on its way, creative director Tristan Moore told us. He declined to say if the post-Kickstarter PayPal pledges helped reach the goal, but said it will stop accepting them in the next few months. “We can’t confirm anything just yet,” Moore said. “But I can say that we have moved forward with discussions with Sony and it looks like we are going to be able to make an announcement regarding the PS4 soon.”

“The Xbox One is the first console platform to officially support Grave and is a non-exclusive agreement,” the developer revealed in the press release for the new demo, “so we are working towards bringing Grave to other consoles, with our sights set firmly on PS4. We will provide mode information as it becomes available.” Of course, the hope is that with Oculus Rift support on PC, Mac and Linux, a PlayStation 4 version of Grave would support the upcoming Project Morpheus HMD, though this wasn’t mentionned.

Yesterday it was strongly suggested and today it’s be officially confirmed: upcoming virtual reality (VR) compatible horror title Grave is coming to the PlayStation 4 alongside PC and Xbox One next year. The news comes after developer Broken Window Studios confirmed that it had its sights set on a PlayStation 4 version of the title following a Kickstarter crowd-funding campaign that raised enough money for the PC, Mac, Linux and Xbox One versions of the title.

Despite the announcement, the developer is still yet to mention if the PlayStation 4 version of Grave will support the Project Morpheus VR head-mounted display (HMD). On PC the title has already confirmed support for the Oculus Rift HMD. The videogame is currently aiming for an early 2015 release, meaning it will likely arrive before Project Morpheus’ own release, although post-launch support will of course be one option for the developers to take.

Despite confirmed a PlayStation 4 version, Broken Window Studios is yet to mention support for the Project Morpheus HMD in this version of Grave. Given its early 2015 release, it’s more than likely that the title will arrive ahead of Project Morpheus itself, though support could potentially be patched in later on.
